Founded in 2015, Woody’s Lodge is a charity that provides help and support for veterans and their families in Wales. Their mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space for veterans to meet and socialise, as well as offer advice and practical support with issues such as housing, employment, and finances. At ONCREE, we’re delighted to have collaborated with Woody’s Lodge for the past five years. Through our team’s considerable online marketing experience and skills, we’ve been able to give Woody’s Lodge a presence and voice online. From the early days when they were only just starting out, we’ve worked closely with the team at Woody’s Lodge to develop effective digital marketing strategies that have helped them achieve incredible growth.

And today, we are excited to share that Sarah Mason, the director of ONCREE, will be participating in the upcoming Normandy Battlefield Tour. Sarah will be fundraising in memory of her parents Eric and Esme Mason. Who dedicated their lives to supporting the Armed Forces community. Eric was a Royal Air Force veteran and spent years of his working life with Masons Removals supporting the Armed Forces, moving personnel around the country and overseas. Esme was the backbone of Masons Removals, raising four children whilst keeping the company running smoothly.
Sarah works pro-bono for Woody’s Lodge funded by Masons Moving Group, offering her expertise to support veterans in need. Help for Homeless Veterans
One of the key areas of support that Woody’s Lodge provides is help for homeless veterans. Normandy Battlefield Tour 2023
The Normandy Battlefield Tour 2023 is an exciting upcoming event that is aimed at honouring fallen veterans and raising much-needed funds for Woody’s Lodge. This tour will take place from the 11th to the 15th of July 2023. The cycle allows veterans to visit the sites of the D-Day landings and pay their respects to those who lost their lives. We’re also proud to share that Sarah, the director of ONCREE, is participating in the Normandy Tours Cycle event to raise awareness and much-needed funds for Woody’s Lodge. This is a 3-day cycle covering 165 miles and all funds raised go towards supporting the work of Woody’s Lodge. By participating in events like this, individuals and organisations can make a tangible difference in the lives of veterans and their families in Wales.
